After graduating from college, he worked for 10 years in the commercial industry at Dallas-based HDR Inc. (Henningson, Durham, and Richardson), which is the number 2 ranked architectural/engineering firm in the nation, specializing in hospitals and prisons. In 1993, he branched out on his own, mastering the field of residential design and bringing with him his expertise in high government standards.
Steve is a professional member of the Texas Institute of Building Design (TIBD) and the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD).
